Chess Platform
Chess infrastructure for the AI era
Not another site to play chess on. An identity, administration and compute layer for the game — in a browser, on your phone, inside Telegram. Make a move on the board: the reply is calculated right here, on your device.
Make a move — the engine answers
What infrastructure means
Three things the platform provides
Infrastructure is an empty word until you break it into parts. Here are the three the whole product rests on.
Identity
Who you are in chess — one record across every client.
- Profile and public page
- Separate Elo for bullet, blitz, rapid, classical and daily
- Achievements and a player card in your wallet
Administration
Who runs chess and how — clubs, federations, events.
- Clubs with roles, internal tournaments and team battles
- Federations verifying the clubs of a country
- Arena tournaments and federation calendars
Compute
What does the counting — the engine runs on your device.
- Stockfish 16 in the browser, no server queue
- Game review, reports and endgame drills
- Bots at every strength
The layer
Built to be built on
Chess data, identity and compute belong in an open layer, not locked inside one product. Part of that layer already talks to the outside world; the public API is what comes next.
Player identity
LiveA stable public code for a verified player, checkable from any page or by QR — an anchor external tools can point at.
Chess data
LiveGames, ratings across five time controls, tournaments, clubs and federations — one schema behind every client.
Compute at the edge
LiveAnalysis runs in the user's browser. The heavier the load, the better it scales on its own — not on our servers.
Integrations
LiveImport from Lichess and Chess.com, a Telegram bot and Mini App, passes for Google and Apple Wallet.
Public API
NextProgrammatic access to the same layer our own four clients run on — for coaching tools, club software and AI assistants.
Building on chess data?
The developer platform opens in stages. Tell us what you need first and we will bring you in early.
Clubs and federations
Chess is run by organisations, not by accounts
This is the part of the platform that is literally infrastructure: a federation administers the game in its country, and clubs connect to it after verification.
Federations
A country's governing body with its own profile, calendar and view of the talent inside it.
- Registry and public federation pages
- Club verification and connection
- Read-only access to member clubs' data
Clubs
A community with roles, its own events and matches against other clubs.
- Owner, admin, moderator and member roles
- Internal tournaments
- Team battles between clubs
Compute at the edge
Your browser is the analysis server
Stockfish runs on your device, so a full game review costs us nothing and costs you nothing. Try it on your own games — no account needed.
- 20
- games analysed per report
- Stockfish 16
- runs in your browser
- Free
- and no account required
Playing
There is always an opponent
A new Arena tournament starts every 15 minutes, and the queue never strands you: if no human is free you get a bot, not a waiting screen.
Quick pairing
A rated opponent inside your rating window; the longer you wait, the wider it opens.
Challenge a friend
Send a link — whoever opens it sits down opposite you.
Play a bot
Ten strength levels, from a first game to a serious workout.
Arena tournaments
A new Rapid or Blitz arena every 15 minutes, around the clock.
Five ratings — bullet, blitz, rapid, classical and daily are counted separately, so a fast loss never touches your classical.
Fair play — finished rated games go through automatic screening on the server.
Study
Everything built on top of the engine
Analysis is the foundation; lessons, drills and a library sit on top of it.
Game review
Evaluation graph, move labels and accuracy for both players.
OpenLessons
A move tree with variations, arrows, comments and “find the move” questions — written by players themselves.
OpenEndgame drills
Queen, rook, bishop and knight against a lone king — with your personal record.
OpenBooks
A chess library with a reader built into the platform.
OpenThe chess world
